About this game
Matt Shumer gave an agent three paragraphs asking for a first-person shooter at the level of a modern Call of Duty, told it to fan out sub-agents and have each one critique the others until none could find fault, and left it running.
This is what came back. About 55,000 lines of Three.js across eleven subsystems, with no art assets at all. No models, no image files, no audio files. Every texture, mesh, animation and sound is generated procedurally when the page loads.
It does not match Call of Duty, and Shumer says so himself. He published the scores: eleven independent critics rated it 5.05 out of ten, and in every blind comparison they still picked the real frame. The hands are blocky and the enemies read as mannequins at distance.
Play it anyway. It is the artefact the whole argument about AI-made games is having, and it is more interesting for being honest about where it falls short.
